The Cash Management Department works directly with the Deposit Operations Department. We also support our Business Lending Team and Retail Delivery Team.
Compensation:
Minimum $26.25/hour
Maximum $37.50/hour
Applicant with a desired mix of knowledge, skills, and abilities could anticipate $28.12 - $30.00
The Cash Management Specialist will provide cash management product and technical expertise and support to our business members, the Retail Delivery Team and Business Lending Team. The Cash Management Specialist will support the Cash Management Officers with servicing our business members, implementing new products and back office operations. This position will be the point of contact for all service needs to include Business Online Banking, ACH Origination, Wire, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, Card Processing and Payroll Services in order to support business member satisfaction through service excellence.
Responsible for coordinating and directing cash management service and operations to include implementations of services, training and maintenance requests from Business Online Banking members and internal partners. Identify gaps in service and needs and make appropriate referrals to internal partners. Assist with all cash management operations including audits, reports, due diligence, contract changes, temporary limit increases and other business member documentation.
The position requires effective communication by phone and email to reach out to business members regarding referrals, and other products and services which will contribute the financial wellbeing of the business. Support and assist ongoing internal communications and education on Cash Management and Business Services. Maintains extensive product knowledge to include those provided through all business units and third parties. Maintains focus on the mission and purpose of Harborstone and makes appropriate recommendations for both consumer and business products and services to meet the needs of the member with the needs of the membership and promotes a growing financial cooperative.
Participates actively in community events to help build brand recognition and share Harborstone’s mission and purpose in the community.
Upholds legal, regulatory and compliance requirements unique to the role, in addition to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, and Information Security policies and procedures. Completes annually required compliance related courses as established by Harborstone Credit Union policies and/or practices.
Completes annually required Product and Process Knowledge competency testing, in addition to job related courses as established by Harborstone Credit Union policies and/or practices.
