Overview

The Branch Manager is a key player in our branch's success, as they prioritize team building, member satisfaction, and achieving goals for the organization. The Branch Manager makes certain that Harborstone Credit Union continues to be a reliable financial partner in the community by fostering strong relationships with members and offering top-notch service. This position also includes risk management duties and active involvement in community events that support development and prosperity.

 

Minimum $77,970/yr

Maximum $111,385/yr

Placement in the pay scale will be determined by experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Create Positive Member Experience: Ensures that team members adhere to member experience expectations and provides feedback and coaching to improve member service skills and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership: Establish a culture of excellence, teamwork, and ongoing development by offering other bankers and tellers' direction, coaching, and support. Fosters a positive work environment focused on continuous improvement.

Branch Meetings: Conducts branch meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions with branch personnel to discuss activities and performance tied to goals.

Community Engagement: Participate in business development efforts, community outreach programs, and networking events to represent the credit union in the neighborhood.

Growth and Development: Stay informed and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for about credit union products, services, and procedures.

Member Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with consumer and business members, acting as their primary point of contact for all banking requirements and inquiries (in-person, over the phone, and via email).

Sales Excellence: Lead by example in product growth activities such as recognizing and opening account and membership opportunities, cross-servicing items, and meeting goals.

Financial Needs Assessment: Conduct a thorough review of consumer and business members' financial situations, including income, expenses, assets, and obligations, to identify areas for product and service recommendations.

Product Knowledge: Maintains expertise in Harborstone products and services, ensuring that members receive tailored recommendations to meet their financial goals.

Educational Support: Provide consumer and business members with clear and helpful information to improve their knowledge of finances and independence while educating them about credit union products, services, and self-service alternatives.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Certification:

 

  • Experience: Any equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably within the financial industry, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.

 

  • Education: Graduated with a high school diploma.

 

Physical Considerations:


Must be able to effectively read, write, and listen as well as communicate verbally, electronically and in written form with employees, members, board members, vendors, and the general public as required.


May be asked to handle, move, and/or carry large boxes of supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.

 

May require stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for limited periods of time.

 

May require sitting and standing for long periods of time.
